Zara McDermott has unveiled her strict daily schedule which includes set times for meals, work outs and checking her phone.

The former Love Island star, 25, took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that she doesn't "enjoy sleep" and described herself as a "workaholic", before going on to give fans an insight into her daily routine.

"Does anyone else just not enjoy sleep? I sleep because I have to, not because I want to," she wrote alongside a make-up free selfie.

"I get zero excitement to get into bed because for some reason my brain works best between the hours of 10pm and 1am which means I often send work messages and emails at ridiculous hours, come up with ideas etc."

Zara continued: "But at the same time I want to go to sleep fast because I have a very regimented to do list tomorrow that I need to tick off every item.

"I’m already excited for my alarm to go off at 7am so I can start getting stuff done. Am I a workaholic? Maybe. I anyone else like this or am I just a complete weirdo?"

She then followed up by sharing a screenshot of her "very regimented to do list" which she had written out in her Notes app on her phone.

The reality star's day begins at 7am with a 15-minute window where she can check her phone before heading for a shower at 7.15.

This is then followed by her 'skin routine' and an hour long gym session, before she heads off to begin her work for the day, which in this case, was filming for one of her TV shows.

Zara's meal times are scheduled for specific times and each of her daily activities has a designated time slot, which helps her not to be "stressed and overwhelmed".

"I plan my days in 30 minute segments. Every single bloody day. It's tiring but if I don't do it I will get stressed & overwhelmed," Zara wrote on her Stories.

Her latest update comes after she recently jetted off on a luxury getaway to Marbella to celebrate her boyfriend Sam Thompson's 30th birthday.

Many of Sam's Made in Chelsea co-stars joined him in Spain along with TOWIE favourite Pete Wicks, who flew out as a surprise for Sam's birthday.

Zara paid a loving tribute to her beau on his birthday as she wrote on Instagram: "HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY. I cannot believe you’re thirty! Our relationship is non stop laughter, you annoying me (which I wouldn’t have any other way), but it’s also supporting each other in every way and being each others biggest champion.

"I am so grateful for you every day. Your infectious energy is the most wonderful thing to be around. You have this amazing gift where you can light up any room you walk into. No matter how bad of a day someone is having, you can always make them smile, laugh and forget about their worries.

"You are so kind to every single person you meet, which is so rare nowadays. I hope you enjoy this video of some of our funniest, belly laugh moments. I can’t wait to keep laughing with you until we are old and grey!!! @samthompsonuk."
