The actress daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz threw shade at the Oscar-winning actor when posting a photo of her from the 94th Academy Awards back in March.

AceShowbizZoe Kravitz regretted how she addressed Will Smith‘s Oscars slap. In her cover story for WSJ. Magazine’s Fall 2022 Women’s Fashion issue, “The Batman” actress admitted that she wishes she weighed in on the controversy differently.

“It’s a scary time to have an opinion or to say the wrong thing or to make controversial art or statements or thoughts or anything,” the 33-year-old first shared. “It’s mostly scary because art is about conversation. That should, in my opinion, always be the point. The internet is the opposite of conversation. The internet is people putting things out and not taking anything in.”

“I’m torn about what to say right now, because I’m supposed to just talk about it; I have very complicated feelings around it,” the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz added. “I wish I had handled that differently. And that’s okay.”

Zoe threw shade at Will when posting a photo of her from the 94th Academy Awards. In the picture, the “Big Little Lies” star could be seen posing on the red carpet in a pale pink Saint Laurent dress, which featured a bow detailing.

In the caption of the post, Zoe wrote, “here’s a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now.” In another post, Zoe shared a picture of her look for the afterparty which saw her rocking a white open-back column gown by Saint Laurent. “and here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now,” she penned in the accompanying message.

Zoe was clearly not happy with Will for slapping Chris Rock onstage. Not stopping down, she doubled down on her criticism of Will’s violent act in a now-deleted comment. “You don’t support him defending his wife?” a fan asked, to which the “Divergent” star simply replied, “nope.”
