YOU don’t need to spend hundreds of pounds on anti-ageing products to transform your skin.
Tee, also known as @thatsotee on TikTok shared the DIY product she uses “morning and night” that has “amazing long-term, anti-ageing benefits”.
The skincare influencer who is 47 years old, doesn’t look at day over 20 thanks to spraying rice water on her face twice a day.
In a recent video, she said: “Let’s do a step-by-step on how to use rice water on your face.
“You are going to cleanse your face as usual – it’s the evening time right now so I’m going to be double-cleansing because I have make-up on.
“If I’m doing this in the morning time I only splash my face with water, I don’t use a cleanser,” she noted.

“Now you’re going to spray the rice water all over your face – and don’t forget your neck.
“Don’t rinse it off, let it air dry.”
She then completed the rest of her skincare routine and told viewers: “Rice water is a starch so it’s not going to moisturise your skin, so I highly suggest using a moisturiser after.”
As for how she manages to get such beautiful, porcelain skin with no blemishes, Tee revealed: “The key is to stay consistent. Do it morning and night and don’t forget to put it back in the fridge [between uses].”

As for what the benefits of using rice water are, skincare brand Mama Earth said: “Rice water is good for the skin as it helps hydrate the skin tone, treat sun tanning, and prevent sun damage and give your skin a brightening natural glow.
“Using it regularly may make your skin as clear and blemish-free as glass.”
How to make rice water:
Take a quarter cup of organic white rice and pour it into a saucepan. Tee has “never used brown rice” and suggests “sticking to white rice”.
Wash the white rice four to five times until the water is clear then “drain it out”.
Then pour ¾ cup to one cup of filtered water to the saucepan and “cook on low heat for 15 minutes”.
Strain the rice from the water using a sieve, and squeeze all the water out from the rice grains.
Tee added: “Don’t waste the rice, you can eat it.”
Then dilute the rice water with one cup of filtered water and “transfer it into a spray bottle”.
Tee suggested storing the rice water in your fridge, where it will last up to two weeks.
