ANY food fan knows baking can be a bit of a workout, especially if you don't have a sand mixer.

But one clever foodie has shared her genius trick and it's perfect for fellow lazy cooks.

Posting on TikTok, Rachel Loaf showed how her friend got around the problem of now owning a stand mixer after she sent hIM a recipe that needed one.

"I sent my friend a recipe that requires a stand mixer and this is the progress video he sent me," she explained in the video.

Using an electric hand whisk, the food fan positioned it in place using a metal cooling rack.

The whisk attachments fit perfect inbetween the gaps and the machine sat perfectly on top of the wire rack too.

Because the machine didn't need to be held it meant he could leave the whisk to work like a stand mixer, giving his arms a bit of a break.

"Honestly a stroke of genius," the friend added.

Other food fans agreed the hack was pretty smart too, one said: "This is genius!

"And you can put the bowl on a Lazy Susan turntable to get to get all the sides."
