Beatrice stepped out in Kate’s dress but with two style differences

The Royal Family may have access to the world’s wardrobe, but still sometimes end up dressing like each other. Kate, Princess of Wales and Princess Beatrice both stepped out in the same dress a year apart, but which royal went for the more expensive look?

Kate Middleton and Princess Beatrice share more than just their royal status.

Both stepped out in the same mid-length tea dress by Beulah London on separate occasions.

Kate Middleton looked lovely in the blush pink dress at Wimbledon 2021, the Championships, on July 11.

The dress boasted quarter-length sleeves, a tailored bodice and full, pleated skirt. It was belted at the waist, accentuating the Princess’ figure.

The dress is currently unavailable in Kate’s blush pink but is available in beige.

It is priced at £695 and is described on the official website as a “classic, wardrobe must-have”.

Kate paired her Beulah London dress with blush pink pumps, complete with a think ankle strap.

She wore a dark green and purple bow accessory pinned to her dress. This was the ribbon of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC), of which Kate is patron.

Almost a year later on June 5, 2022, Prince WIlliam’s cousin Beatrice looked mesmerising in the same dress – but with a few differences.

The bodice, belt, skirt and length were the same, and like Kate’s, it was extremely flattering to Beatrice’s figure.

The big differences in Beatrice’s dress were that it boasted long sleeves and was blue instead of blush pink.

It is currently retailed online at £795, costing £100 more than Kate’s short-sleeved pink number.

Beulah London’s official website described the piece as follows: “Our best selling Ahana has been crafted in a delicate blue, with a longer sleeve length appropriate for colder months. This dress is an elegant choice for any season.”

The Princess paired her Beulah London dress with a blue clutch and suede grey pumps.

Practically synonymous with the royal, Beatrice opted for a blue fascinator to match the dress.

Royal fans took to Instagram to praise the dress and compare how each royal made it their own.

@anhollingsworth commented: “Kate can do no wrong but I’m gonna go with B on this one, she nailed it.”

@jacy_62 seconded this: “Beatrice for me, I love the colour of her dress.” @mariahsmartin said: “Love both, but Bea wins this round!”

@sweethomewithpriscilla added: “I love the look on both ladies but Bea looks amazing with the coordinating hat and the lovely blue shade.”

However, @priya1996086 stated that it was one of her “favourite” outfits of Kate’s.
