Beauty fan finds cheap dupe of the £46 Elemis cleansing balm & it’s only £4 from Sainsburys | The Sun

FINDING the right skin care products on a tight budget can sometimes feel like an impossible task.

When you’re pinching those purse strings, luxury items like face cream and cleanser get downgraded from designer buys like Elemis to own-brand, unknown items in your supermarket aisle.

The same questions run through our minds: Will it work? Will my skin suffer without my pricey products?

Well, according to one beauty fan, if you buy her recent supermarket discovery you’ll have fabulous skin without the feverishly high price tag.

Debbie Millyard was thrilled to find a cheap dupe of her favourite Elemis cleansing balm in the most surprising of places.

And the best part? It’s saved her over £40.

Taking to her TikTok channel, Debbie explained: “Ok, we need to stop spending 50 or 60 quid on the Elemis pro cleansing balm.

“I said it. I have a product that costs £4 and I’m going to show you why you’re going to stop spending 60 quid – or wanting to spend 60 quid.”

Leaning in towards the camera, Debbie says: “I’m going to take this make-up off and show you what this product can do.”

With her brunette hair scraped back into a bun, she begins massaging the mystery cleanser into her skin with her fingers.

“It smells divine and my make-up is melting off my face,” she explains, standing back to show viewers the results.

“It’s also got a slight bit of texture so I feel like I’m scrubbing my face with a nice gentle exfoliant,” she adds.

“I’m in love and it smells like eucalyptus and peppermint or tea tree – it’s so fresh.”

Debbie explains that she had Mac mascara on her eyes before using the cheap cleansing balm.

She’s amazed to find that all the mascara has melted off her lashes, leaving them squeaky clean.

She grabs a couple of cotton pads and gently wipes them over her eyes.

Turning the pads towards the camera, she marvels at the amount of make-up on them.

“Look at that,” she exclaims excitedly, before finding a different spot in her home to show off how much make-up the balm has taken off her face.
