THE WEATHER is turning chillier, and if you don’t want to spend a fortune on your heating bill, you may wish to snap up an electric blanket.
B&M shoppers are raving about their ‘winter warmer’ electric blanket which keeps you toasty for just 1p per hour.
The retailer took to Instagram to show off their money-saving heat product.
They wrote: “Stay WARM for LESS!!
“Get ready to SAVE and keep WARM from ONLY 1p per hour with your very own Silentnight Electric Blanket!
“It will keep you warm and snuggly through the chilly winter nights.”

B&M shared how it comes in a single size for £25, a double for £30 and a king size for £35.
There are three heat settings to choose from, and they claim it “heats up fast” and has “overheat protection.”

With bills rising, we've worked out how much you pay to use the average electric blanket.
According to research from Uswitch, these gadgets typically use 100 watts of energy to warm a double bed before switching to a sleep setting or being turned off.
A 100W electric blanket run for seven hours a week would use 0.7kWh.
Based on the new price cap which came into effect on October 1, it costs around 24p weekly to run an electric blanket for one hour a day for seven days.
If you used it for one hour a day for a year, you'd be spending £12.48 on your electricity annually.
But using an electric blanket instead of turning the heating up could save you cash off your bill, Uswitch energy expert Sarah Broomfield said.

"Using an electric blanket to warm the bed may mean you can turn the temperature of your thermostat down, as you won't need your bedroom to be so hot.
"Turning your thermostat down by just 1°C can save you as much as £80 a year."
