Chris Evans’s cable-knit sweater from “Knives Out” pales in comparison to the sequel’s many chic swimsuits. In “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” a group of old friends jet off to tech billionaire Miles Bron’s private Greek island for a murder-mystery-themed getaway with their finest vacation wear tucked away in designer luggage. They waste no time in stripping down into swimwear, with each character bringing a little something different to the table.

It’s hard to rip your eyes away from Birdie Jay (Kate Hudson) when she makes her poolside entrance as if she were walking the New York Fashion Week runway, clad in an orange bikini with a patterned cover-up flowing in the wind behind her. She’s joined by Whiskey (Madelyn Cline), who emerges from the water in slow motion wearing a gold string bikini, and Andi aka Helen (Janelle Monáe), who means business in a black-and-white one-piece. Meanwhile, Duke (Dave Bautista) shows off his tattoo collection in a barely there speedo, Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) remains far more covered up in striped separates, and Peg (Jessica Henwick) disguises athleisure as swimwear.

“Glass Onion” costume designer Jenny Eagan told POPSUGAR all about what inspired the film’s standout swimwear moments — and yes, she shared the brands for each one. Read ahead to get the full scoop and shop our top dupes for swimsuits worn by Birdie, Whiskey, Helen, and Peg.
