Camila Mendes Nails the No-Pants Trend in a Bra and Briefs

Camila Mendes was spotted sitting front row at New York Fashion Week’s Coach Fall 2023 Show, wearing just her underwear. While we’re well-versed in cutouts and naked dresses, it’s a rarity that a celebrity attends an event wearing little more than an actual briefs and bralette set. Topped with a leather jacket, Mendes fully embraced the no-pants trend even in the middle of winter. On her feet were studded loafers and she held a leather crossbody bag on one shoulder.

The show itself was a grungy collection of striped knit dresses, sheer gowns with visible lingerie sets underneath, and lots of denim. There were matching overcoats and metallic pants, low-rise maxi skirts, and graphic prints like the NY apple, Superman logo, and the brand’s own iconic dinosaur. All in all, it was a ’90s-inspired showing that brought their customer’s wardrobe effortlessly through morning, noon, and night.

Over the past few months, Mendes has dipped her toe into the boudoir look, wearing a red cone-shaped corset dress that evoked Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” wardrobe, when she stepped out to the fall screening of Netflix’s “Do Revenge.” And, before that, she wore a sheer chartreuse bustier look to another screening of the same movie, paired with a matching skirt. Just two weeks ago, she headed out for a girl’s night with “Riverdale” cast members Lili Reinhart and Vanessa Morgan wearing a sheer printed top with a black bralette underneath.
