YOU might think your home is totally spick and span, but according to one cleaning whizz there's a spot you're missing.

Haddie, from Ukraine, took to social media to share the one thing she'd been forgetting to clean for years.

"Dusting is the most important part of cleaning, but did you know that curtains carry the most dust?" She explained in the clip.

The mum confessed she didn't even know how dirty curtains could get until recently.

"I've only doe this once in my life, but I'm definitely gonna keep this as my chore twice a year," she said.

Haddie decided to put the curtains from her son's room into the washing machine and was stunned by how much dust and dirt came off them.

After washing the mum rinsed the curtains with some vinegar to neutralise any bad smells too.

"I'm pretty sure the smell of his room just changed drastically , it was the most disgusting water I've ever seen in my washer," she said.

Haddie was so impressed by how clean the curtains came out that she decided to clean the rest of them in her home too.

Before you throw your curtains straight into the washing machine it's important to check their label, as not all will be suitable for machine washing.
