Duchess Sophie re-wears £250 spring dress and blazer at agricultural show

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh flattered her fair complexion with a navy dress and earthy tweed blazer on a trip to Yorkshire yesterday.

Dressed to impress for the agricultural show, the royal stepped out in a smart midi dress complete with a collar neckline, long sleeves and a flowing pleated a-line skirt.

Designed by ME+EM, a brand loved by both Sophie and Princess Kate, the £250 garment flattered the Duchess’s slender silhouette.

The exact style is known as the Ponte Fit and Flare Midi Dress with Ponte-Jersey Tailoring in navy.

The 58-year-old teamed the recycled wardrobe staple with a stylish blazer made from a light brown wool fabric with orange plaid detailing.

While the bulk of Sophie’s outfit appeared to be made up of old favourites, the autumnal jacket is a new addition to her wardrobe.

The royal completed the earthy-tone ensemble with a statement accessory for a pop of colour.

Sophie was seen clutching the Moneypenny Clutch in Cognac by Sophie Habsburg (£336).

Known as one of the Duchess’s go-to bag designers, the orange Sophie Habsburg number is one of many owned by the royal.

This particular clutch bag featured a bright orange leather body with a snake skin print around the border of the envelope-sized accessory.

Complete with a front flap closure, inside zip pocket and Satin inner lining, the Italian-made bag perfectly complimented the orange detailing in Sophie’s plaid jacket.

In keeping with the tonal look, the royal paired her navy dress with a pair of suede knee-high boots in the same shade.

The shoes featured a subtle red threaded pattern on the shins which wrapped around the calf while the rest of the boots appeared to be plain.

While the Duchess is often seen donning stiletto heels, the suede boots featured a lower heel to suit the casual agricultural vibe.

And Sophie kept her hair and makeup subtle too, opting for a large brown clip to hold her neatly swept-back hair in a low ponytail.
