According to the pros at Mashed, you can add a couple of tablespoons of water to your air fryer's drip pan to help revive your carby treats.

The food pros said: "Even baking a cake is possible if you're using a larger air fryer that can fit a baking tin inside of it.

"The smaller baskets of air fryers suited for personal use may not be able to pull off something so grandiose, but making a few cookies at a time is doable."

Boil eggs without any water

If you love a boiled egg in the morning but can never be bothered with the faff of boiling a pan of water, try using your air fryer instead.

Simply place the eggs in the basket of your pre-heated air fryer and leave for 12-15 minutes, depending on if you like your eggs hard or soft boiled.

Use tin foil instead of pricey gadgets

Although there are loads of fancy gadgets you can buy for your air fryer that promise to make cooking a breeze, don't forget about trusty tin foil.
