It was then that she pointed out the Greggs dupes of their famous festive bake, and showed how the savoury pastries are filled with chicken, smoked bacon and cranberries.

The influencer explained: “There’s also a 10 pack of mini festive bakes – I cannot wait to try these!

“And they’ve also got mini cheese and onion versions as well.”

But Aldi aren’t stopping there and have gone all out with their chicken selection, knowing that they are a firm favourite at Christmas parties.

Ashleigh continued: “There’s also loads of chicken skewers, which I’m very excited about.

“[They come] in a 10 pack and there’s lots of different flavours so you can try them and they all cook at the same temperature.”

The seasonings included satay and sticky chicken, while they also have hot and spicy chicken bites (12 pack £1.99), nacho chicken bites (12 pack £1.99) and southern fried chicken bites (12 pack £1.99).

Other top buys range from a 12 pack of hot and spicy breaded prawns for £1.79, or salt and pepper breaded prawns or tempura king prawns for the same price if they are more to your fancy.

Ashleigh added: “Pizza wise, you can get a huge pack of mini cheese and tomato pizzas and they also had pepperoni available as an option as well.” These are both a steal as they’re priced at just £1.99.

The TikTok user was also keen to highlight their garlic and cheese bites and nacho cheese bites, both £1.99.

Other favourites are also back in store, including vegetable spring rolls for just 99p for 12, and a duck variety for £1.49.

But it wasn’t just Asheigh who was counting down the days until Christmas, as her 196k followers were quick to say it was some of the best Christmas food options they’d seen.

Elsewhere, a third typed:”Going to start picking bits up every time I go for xmas.” As a fourth described the lot as an “absolute dream”.
