A MAN who cut his hair for the first time in two years has gone viral – thanks to his wife's reaction to his new look.

The video, shared by Barrettas Beauty Bar & Studios, was captioned: "When you finally go get your hair cut after 2 years and don’t tell your wife."

It began with the man showing off his long hair, before he headed to the salon.

The hairdresser put his hair up into multiple ponytails, before snipping them off and giving him a new crew cut.

But he hadn't told his wife that he was going to get a completely new look.

The video then showed his wife walking into their home and seeing her spouse for the first time – with a high-pitched scream coming from her mouth as she did.

The scream lasted for what seemed like a lifetime, before the woman took her husband's new 'do in, and exclaimed: "Oh my God!

"You look like you’re 20 years old!"

And people couldn't help but weigh in on the woman's excited reaction in the comments section.

"She wasn’t screaming from her mouth – she was literally peeling that man’s clothes off and wanting everyone to leave that house right there," one wrote.
