A WOMAN has revealed that she bagged a mouldy, damp caravan for free and has since given it a stunning makeover.
Using cheap buys from Shein and Amazon, the savvy mum explained that she was able to give the home on wheels the ultimate transformation.
Sharing a before and after look at the caravan on social media, the DIY enthusiast claimed that the caravan was “in need of a deep clean and a revamp.”
She explained: “Picked up a free caravan from [Facebook] Marketplace.
“It had one corner of damp but otherwise was in great condition.
“So we bought it home and upcycled it.”

The mum then shared snaps of the inside of the caravan, prior to its renovation.
It was a very dated, tired space that was in need of some TLC.
She then added: “After a good scrub, a lick of paint, new handles, bedding and covers…it was ready for our boys to have their first sleepover in our new caravan.”
The DIY fan then shared pictures of the caravan’s finished look – complete with grey sofas, chic black curtains, stunning plant accessories and a trendy rug.

The once-beige and boring bathroom was given a modern new look, with white paint and some tiles.
She explained that she spray painted the plastic in the bathroom and used “amazing products” from Shein for the caravan’s overhaul.
The mother confirmed that she nabbed her sofa cushion cover from Shein and then used sofa screws which she bought from Amazon to give the sofa’s a fresh new vibe.
When it came to fixing the damp, the social media user explained: “It wasn't too bad with some new wood and fibreglass. I just YouTube’d it.
“I did rip the wood as it was already falling to bits so was easily removed.
“Just then cut new wood to size and attached with cupboard screws.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @born2lomax, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly amassed 83,700 views.
Social media users were impressed with the caravan’s makeover and were eager to share this in the comments.
One person said: “Looks brilliant.”
Another added: “This is incredible.”
A third commented: “Wow beautiful, well done.”
