I bought an Amazon returns box and thought I'd hit the jackpot with a heater – then I realised what had happened | The Sun

A WOMAN who bought a box of Amazon returns thought she'd hit the jackpot when she found winter essentials like a dehumidifier and a heater inside.

Becky admitted she was "genuinely shook" by what she found in the box, which she'd ordered from eBay.

Kicking off her TikTok video, Becky said: "I fully thought I was gonna be scammed but this rocked up at my door yesterday.

"I haven't opened it yet so let's see what's inside.

"Honestly it feels quite heavy!"

Opening up the top of the box, Becky looked inside and said: "My God, there's so much in here!

BOX OF TREASURES

I spent $480 on an Amazon pallet – pricey items were worth over $1.3k

"I don't know if any of this stuff works, so I'll have to test it and let you know."

The first thing she got out of the parcel was a pink mini fridge.

"That's sick – it honestly doesn't look like it's been used at all," she said.

Next was a gel mat, and a "cool lunch box".

Despite admitting she'd "always wanted one", Becky was disappointed to open it up and find out it's properly broken – with a huge crack in the lid too.

Next up was a dehumidifier/air purifier – perfect for this time of year – and what looked like a mini heater.

She took a travel bag out, which she loved until she realised it had a huge rip in it, followed by a feather duster, and two disposable dehumidifiers.

The next item – a cute cabin-sized suitcase – was also packed with bits and pieces.

"This is insane – I actually needed one of these," Becky grinned.

Inside the case was a pack of smiley face slinkies, a random pair of glasses, a picnic blanket, a book and stationery set, some LED light strips, a kids learning pad and a cute keychain with a quote on it.

Concluding the haul was some under cabinet lighting and even an air bed.

"I can't believe I got all of this stuff for £26!" she said.

"Do you think it was worth it?"

"Genuinely shook at what was in this box!!" Becky added in the caption.

"Watch till the end for a huge surprise.

"Was it worth £26, let me know??"

People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: "Definitely worth it!"

"That’s actually really good!" another added.

As a third wrote: "I need that mini fridge!"

But others weren't as convinced, with one sharing a warning about one of the machines inside the returns box.

"Be careful, I bought that heater and they were recalled for setting on fire," one wrote.

"My bank blocked my card the time I tried to do this," another added.

As a third commented: "I don't think it was worth it, not great!"

"Only worth it if you need random stuff," someone else wrote.

With Becky promising: "I’ll make use for everything don't worry!"
