A MAN has revealed that rather than splashing the cash on a large home, he instead spent just £1,299 and bought a tiny home on wheels.
Brooks, who posts on TikTok under the username @brookstravels, explained that he bought a small home and while there isn’t a shower or a toilet, he loves his unique living space.
In one video, Brooks opened up about his story, as he shared the clip with the caption ‘This is my tiny home travel story!’
He revealed: “I scooped up poop and did random pet sitting jobs for two years.
“This helped me save up enough money to build my dream tiny home on wheels and travel.
“I’m now exploring the US and chasing my dreams.”

In another clip, Brooks gave social media users a tour of his tiny home on wheels.
He said: “$1,600 [£1,299], let’s see what we got.
“Welcome to my tiny house.
“Of course as soon as you walk in you can see it’s pretty micro, but it gets the job done.

“Here’s my awesome doormat that I got at an antiques shop and stained it up and made it look nice.
“My flooring was under $50 [£40].
“The bed is a twin size mattress that I actually cut to make sure it fits perfectly on my wooden bed platform that me and my grandpa made.
“Next I have a little bit of decorations and storage under the bed.
“I have a sink vanity that is not yet completed – here’s my window, I wish I had more windows but this does for now.”
Brooks’ video has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 103k views.
It has 3,482 likes, 93 comments and 42 shares.
TikTok users were left stunned at Brooks’ tiny home and many thought it looked great.
However, others thought his small set-up was depressing and others were stunned that he doesn’t have a toilet or shower.
One person said: “Cute & cozy!!”
A second noted: “Great job, love it.”
Another added: “How does all your stuff fit in 2 bins???” to which Brooks confirmed “I don’t have much.”

A fourth commented: “Bro, I’m not trying to be rude but that is depressing as hell. Gotta paint and get some decorations” to which Brooks replied “We are working on it lol.”
Meanwhile, someone else asked: “No shower or toilet?” to which Brooks explained “Working on it!! I stay in state parks a lot with both of the accommodations.”
