GETTING a tattoo as a teenager is always a risky move.
Some get their ink laser removed when they reach breaking point, some cover it up with a larger tattoo they’ll enjoy, while others live with the consequences of their actions.
And one woman, Valerie, did exactly that after getting a tattoo she chose off Pinterest when she was just 17 years old.
Now, having learned from her own experience, TikTok user @lil0uid is spreading the word – urging others to think twice before getting a permanent design on themselves.
Sharing a clip on the social media platform, she first explained: “This is your sign to not get a super trendy pinterest tattoo that you put zero thought into,” [sic] as a woman in a floral dress pointed to her forearm to show off a tattoo of two little fingers interlocked.
Valerie then appeared on screen in green tank top as she turned around and lifted her auburn mane up to show the “forever young” tattoo on her back.

Trying to explain her decision, she then turned to face the cameras as she said: “I don’t know… I was like 17!”
In the caption, she added: “I very much regret this”.
People were quick to comment on her ink, with one person even pointing out that it was, in fact, crooked.
“The fact that it’s slightly crooked makes it even better lmao,” [sic] they shared, as a second agreed: “it’s crooked too,” [sic] with a skull emoji.

Another joked: “'forever young' as it’s placed on a downward slope,” with laughing emojis.
While a fourth added: “It's slanted,” to which she responded: “Don’t worry, I’m very aware”.
Others appeared to have felt seen by her admission as they had the same phrase tattooed in other areas of their own bodies.
“Girl, I have same one on my leg. To remind myself that I’ll be forever young inside!” one person said.
Another revealed: “I ALSO HAVE THAT TATTOO,” alongside three crying with laughter emojis, to which she replied: “NO WAY”.
A third wrote: “I HAVE THE SAME ONE IN THE SAME SPOT GIRL AHAHAH”.
