A WOMAN has taken to TikTok after being left stunned by the strange substitutions in her online food order.
Beth had requested a pack of beef mince in her ASDA order to make a spaghetti bolognese for her family – but instead was given 12 packs of beef-flavoured rice.
The mum, known online as @homewithbethx, regularly shares quick and easy family dinner ideas with her 2,900 followers.
In a new TikTok reel, she shared a clip of the huge pile of Batchelors Super Rice Beef Flavour Packet Rice, costing £1 per pack.
Over the top, she added the song ‘Opportunity’ from the 2014 Annie film, where the lyrics include: “Now look at me and this opportunity, it’s standing right in front of me.”
In response, she wrote: “ASDA after sending me 12 packs of beef rice instead of actual beef – but not actually telling me in the substitutions???”

She’s not the only one sharing their online order mishaps online – Mel also took to TikTok to reveal that she received a 49p bottle of mouthwash instead of a £50 toothbrush in her order.
She said: “I literally have a question I need to ask.
“When you do food online shopping, and an item isn’t available and they pick a substitution, is it a computer that picks it, or is it a person?
“Because the f****** that we experienced the other day, it just doesn’t make sense.
“The substitution is just so far left, I don't understand it.
She continued: “Now, we’re expecting an electric toothbrush and some coconuts, and what did we receive?
“We didn’t receive an electric toothbrush. Instead, we received Just Essentials by Asda, which is a budget brand in Asda, of mouthwash.
“Okay cool, great replacement for a £50 toothbrush.
“And then we received one, two, three, four packets of kiwis. This is 24 kiwis in my hand right now.
