WHAT did you buy your baby for Christmas this year?
The chances are that your little one has opened presents full of bright and colourful toys to play and learn with, but one baby has had all the colour sucked out of her gifts and people think her mum is mean.
While kids across the country play with their bright red and green noisy toys (cheers Granny and Grandad…), a little girl called Mila has been stuck with the dullest of presents.
Little Mila lives in the US with her first-time mum Missy, and their adventures on TikTok have made them famous.
Over 27,000 people follow the duo’s social media channel, with mum Missy – an occupational therapist for kids – giving parents all sorts of advice for their babies.
But there’s one thing other mums and dads won’t take onboard – and that’s Missy’s presents for baby Mila.

In a recent video, Missy showed off the sweet gifts she’d bought her daughter for Christmas.
Not a single one was bright or battery operated.
Instead, the toys were all neutral colours and tones to fit in with Missy’s preferred colour scheme.
Missy captions the clip: “It was Santa, not me,” followed by an emoji of a woman shrugging.

Text over the video reads: “POV your mom doesn’t buy you anything bright, colourful or battery operated for Christmas.”
Little Mila is seen unwrapping presents in front of the family Christmas tree while wearing a soft dusty pink outfit.
Mila’s first gift is a soft silicone toy featuring a number of stackable star shapes in dark pastel shades of pink, yellow, green and purple.
Next is a tower of stackable cups, also in the same dull shades.
Missy also shows us a four-part puzzle and a brown teething toy, plus some toy ducks in dark yellow, green, grey and brown.
There’s also a beige bucket and spade and a selection of wooden musical instruments.

The theme song from The Grinch plays over the video, and viewers couldn’t agree more with the song’s message.
“Sad beige toys for sad beige babies,” commented an unimpressed user – and loads of people agreed.
“Bright colours and lights are helpful for their development though,” replied another.
Others trolled Missy’s preferred colour scheme by making jokes.
