I DIYed a cheaper version of the flying Halloween ghost decor that's so trendy – people say it's 'the cutest thing ever' | The Sun

AN arts and craft enthusiast has shared his easy tips for making a DIY version of the trendy flying Halloween ghost decor.

The ghoulish decoration instantly added some festive fun.

"This Halloween craft, this is really cute. I think you're going to love this one," gushed Timm Sevitz (@timmsevitz).

The artist and illustrator got started crafting the popular cheesecloth ghost design – but with his own spooky spin.

"Ball up a little bit of aluminum foil and put it on top of toothpicks," explained Timm.

He then mixed a little bit of glue with water.

Next up he grabbed a roll of toilet paper and dunk a square into the concoction.

No cheesecloth was necessary for this project.

Once it was saturated, the toilet paper could be draped over the foil ball.

The time had then come to pull out a Sharpie pen.

All that was left to do was glue the ghosts to a little bit of string – or a fishing line.

Timm was thrilled with the final flying ghost decor: "I love how this turned out."

And he had found plenty of fans who seemed to agree.
