I forked out £4k for a hair transplant in Turkey aged 21 – it was the worst pain I've ever felt but totally worth it | The Sun

A MAN who flew to Turkey to get a hair transplant has described how it was "easily the worst pain" he's ever felt in his life.

Jordan Morris, who is now 22 and regularly posts updates on social media to document his hair journey, explained how he jetted off to Turkey for the procedure when he was just 21.

"I’ve been suffering hair loss since a young age and have always thought about going to Turkey for a hair transplant," he wrote, in a post shared to TikTok (@jordanmorrisssss).

"I’ve finally took action and it was the best decision I have ever made to stop my hair loss."

In the clip, he begins by explaining that on arrival, he was whisked straight to the hospital to get his blood taken and to have a PCR test.

Jordan notes how he then checked into the 5-star hotel which was included in his hair transplant package and woke up the next day ready for his operation.

He then discusses his "s****y" hairline" and shows off where the experts had drawn out a new hairline, before having his hair shaved off.

Jordan then explains how he made his way to the hospital where he was giving about 30 anaesthetic needle injections in the back of his head.

"It was easily the worst pain I've ever felt in my life," he says.

"This was so they could extract follicles from the donor area of the back of my head…then I got another 20 injections in the frontal area of my head so the doctor could make the incisions pain-free."

Following this, Jordan explains how the nurses came in and implanted the hair from the back of his head onto the front of his head.

Once back at the hotel, he notes: "Then I slept at a 45 degree angle, which was easily the worst couple night's sleep I've ever had in my life."

In a second video, Jordan helpfully breaks down the total cost of the hair transplant procedure.

"The first thing you have to consider is your flights," he says.

"My flights from Dublin to Istanbul return were £330."

Jordan goes on to say that the main cost was obviously the hair transplant package cost, which he managed to get for £3,400.

"My package included my 5 star hotel, my transfers to and from the airport, my transfers to and from the clinic, a 6-month after care kit and one session of PRP (platelet-rich plasma injections)."

He adds that he also had to pay for his lunch and dinner along with fuel to get to and from the airport which came to around £56, meaning the total cost was just shy of £4,000.

The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 177k views and several comments from social media users, with many commending Jordan for his honesty.

"Good for you for sharing your story, hope all goes well and that you get good results," wrote one.

A second penned: "I go in two weeks absolutely buzzing and love your video mate."
