ONE mom says she regrets what she named her daughter – especially because of the "spicy" twist she insisted on adding.

Katelyn Quintanilla picked a common enough name for her little girl, but changed up the spelling a bit and even put in punctuation – which, unfortunately, was entered incorrectly on official documents.

"I had my daughter at 21," Katelyn explained in a viral TikTok video.

"Now, there's nothing wrong with having kids at that age, but sometimes when you have kids on the younger side, you end up naming them how you would name a baby doll. Or a pet," she says.

She still loves the baby name she picked for her daughter but regrets the way it is spelled.

Though the name she chose is traditionally spelled with a C, she spelled it with a K, just like her own name – giving her daughter a first name similar to Khloe Kardashian.

"But here's where it gets a little weird. In some lame attempt at being, like, quirky and original, I ended up giving her two e's," she says with an eye roll.

"Which, OK, fine. It's not the worst thing in the world. But it gets worse.

"For a little bit extra spiciness, I decided I was gonna give her an accent. She needed an accent in her name. She needed to be K-H-L-O- E – with an accent – E. She just needed to be.

That would make her name Khloée – but that's not what ended up on her government birth certificate.

Katelyn filled out the birth certificate paperwork with the desired accent and made sure to stress that it be included when handing it over to the nurse.

But the nurse, it seemed, did not know how to type a letter with an accent on a computer.

Instead, she made do with what she thought was an appropriate substitute.

"She ends up using an apostrophe instead," says Katelyn.

Now, on all her legal documentation, Katelyn's daughter's name is Khloe'e.

"All because her 21-year-old mom decided that she just needed an accent," Katelyn says with clear regret.

Her daughter is now 11, and Katelyn added in a comment that the name is "not really hurting anything," so she hasn't changed it.

Her daughter also "thinks it’s funny now," though Katelyn admitted: "I wish I had just gone with Khloe."
