It looks like the Asda Essentials range is a good start if you're looking for affordable food as most of the items on the list came from there.
And it seems like it is worth checking out the reduced items for lower prices.
You are more likely to find these later on in the day.
The creator made it clear in the comments that this shop was just for them.
They said: “Just me. Chicken, potatoes and veg mainly. Chicken sandwiches. You have to be creative on a budget”.
With those ingredients we reckon you could even go a little further with mash, a mini roast, beans on toast, jacket potato and even soup.
And of course there may be other essentials missing from the list like milk and snacks, and it's likely the creator will need to work with a few bits already in their fridge or cupboard at home.
But this is definitely a good starting point for a weekly shop on a budget.
The video now has over 120,000 views and over 2,000 likes.
Viewers were very surprised the account holder could find such cheap food.
And many offered the creator messages of support.
