A MUM has revealed that she found out she was pregnant with identical twins just SIX months after giving birth to her first set.

Britney Alba had two sets of identical twins – one of boys and one of girls – just 13 months apart.


The 27-year-old has revealed that “people gawk at them” and life feels like a “circus”.

The mum-of-four laughed: “People gawk at us when we’re out in public. 

“I used to get stopped all the time when it was just Luka and Levi — you know, people asking, 'Are they twins?' 

“Now it’s like a circus, everyone wants to get a look!”

Her boys Luka and Levi are 18-months-old, while her little girls Lydia and Lynlee are four-months-old having been born in October last year.

Speaking to The Today Show, Britney revealed that she and her husband Frankie, 25, weren’t scared the second time round.

She said: “You know, it’s funny.

“I wasn’t scared.

“I remember thinking, ‘Ok! Round two’.”

The family-of-six live in Alabama, US and Britney said she feels “very blessed and humbled” to have her whole family at home with her. 

She is a primary school teacher when not on maternity leave, while Frankie is a firefighter. 

In a video posted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the couple shared what their second pregnancy was like.

Britney said: “I just walked up to my husband and I was like, 'Frankie look, we're pregnant again.

"We were like OK, we just had two, we can handle one more.

"When they did the ultrasound they said there was one baby. 

“The technician said 'Let me double check’, and she was like, 'Oh my goodness … there's two.'

"And we start laughing because we think it's a joke. 

“And she's like 'No, I wouldn't joke about this, there’s two’.”
