A WEIGHT-LOSS influencer has revealed a simple breakfast recipe that helped her shed 50 pounds.

She said the French toast meal prep truly tastes like having dessert for brekkie.


MaKayla (@makayla_thomas_fit) shared the recipe with over 1.5 million TikTok followers.

The nutrition specialist explained the recipe was one of many meals she ate to lose 50 pounds.

To prep the peach cobbler french toast bowls, she started off with low-calorie bread, laying the squared toast in Tupperware.

Next, she mixed together 1/4 cup of egg whites, 1/4 cup of a protein shake of her choice, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

She poured the mixture over the toast and added in diced peaches.

For an optional crumble, the content creator mixed together 1/2 tablespoon of softened butter, a tablespoon of flour, and a tablespoon of brown sugar.

She sprinkled the crumble and a few pecans over the toast.

She baked the mixture at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes and served the meal with light syrup.
