I made a DIY fall lantern using Dollar Tree bargains – it's not complicated, people say it looks so much more expensive | The Sun

AN interior design enthusiast has revealed how she spruces up bargain buys to make one-of-a-kind fall decor.

She scored her supplies from Dollar Tree, claiming it's simple to do and won't break the bank.

The TikToker (@homegoodiys) has filmed herself assembling the decor in a video posted to the social media platform.

She used a hexagon-shaped mirror with a white border, adding matching sticks using strong glue.

Next, she added another hexagon on top of the columns to create a cage-like appearance.

For the first option, she added red leaves spiraling down the piece with pinecones as accents.

In the middle, she used candles with a false flame to add some brightness without a fire hazard.

For the second option, she used beige and white fake roses from Amazon.

"Fall lantern featuring Dollar Tree florals as option one and Amazon florals as option two," she said.

The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
