I made a posh lamp out of rubbish I found on the street, it cost next to nothing and is so perfect | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed how she created an amazing lamp from a tree branch she randomly found.

The TikTok user explained in a video how she enhanced the lighting in her living room with the unlikely – but very affordable – item.

In a post, the woman revealed how she had bought her first home aged 26, but was renovating it on a very tight budget.

She explained that, to keep costs down, she was doing a lot of DIY inside her home.

This included painting and doing the floor herself, and also repurposing items to decorate her space.

As she recounted about her journey, the woman said: "Then finding this branch and thinking: 'Hey this would make a great lamp!'

"Which actually turned out surprisingly well."

The video shows how she had wrapped the light and wiring – which was encased in rope – around the wood.

She then placed it next to her sofa, creating an original feature inside her calm space.

The woman captioned the post: "I haven’t even lived here for a full year and i’ve already redecorated *at least* three times."
