AN INFLUENCER who $850 on Kim Kardashian's Skims swimwear has documented the underwhelming experience on YouTube.
In an almost 20-minute video, the content creator reviews multiple pieces in Kim Kardashian's Skims swimwear line, and shares with viewers how troublesome the experience was.
Video creator Roxi, also known as Roxxsaurus on her popular YouTube channel, documented to her over 4.5 million subscribers herexperience trying on Kim Kardashian's Skims swimwear line.
Roxi purchased numerous articles of clothing and not all were what she hoped they would be.
She says at the start of the video that although she's no stranger to Skims clothing items, this was her first time trying on this particular swim brand of clothing from Skims.
The influencer then proceeds to say how she was having flashbacks to her 2021 YouTube review of Kylie's Jenner's Kylie Swim and is "still scarred from that whole experience".

"I spent $850 dollars on all of this stuff right here which I think is roughly £700," Roxi says.
The first swim item she pulls out to try on is the Skims Cut Out Monokini, $88 in the color Taffy.
The key feature of the pink one-piece suit is the circular hole in the middle to show off the abdominal muscles and the racer back detail that also had a back circular cut out as well.
Roxi appreciates the bottom coverage but raises her concerns about the chest coverage area of the bathing suit and says :"To be honest, when I'm swimming, I don't really want my boobs flying out of my swimsuit."

In terms of quality and stitching, the beauty blogger claims that it doesn't look cheap, feels thick and appears double-lined, though she dislikes that the suit does not have any padding.
"I have to say I'm a huge fan of the quality and the color, but personally I don't think it's the most flattering shape," Roxi states.
She proceeds to add that the top fits nicely, but the swimsuit may not be the best suited for women with more body fat as it highlights the belly region.
Roxi then rates the Skims swimsuit a three out of ten.
The next bathing ensemble the influencer pulls out is the Skims Swim Bandeau Bikini Top, $38,and the Skims Swim Sarong Skirt, $78, in marble.
"I didn't even realize this, but it has a strap that you can wear…this is really cool. It's adjustable and then the quality of it is very nice," Roxi claims.
The top and sarong bottom are both made out of a "faux-satin" fabri.
The top has a jelly strip inside to keep the top up and not fall down, while the sarong bottoms have a ruching detail on the back, a thick waistband and slight asymmetrical vibe.
"Honestly, I'm in love with this. I would genuinely just wear this as a regular outfit on holiday," the content creator says with glee and rates both items a ten out of ten for fit, quality and color.
The most expensive item from Roxi's haul is the Skims Metallic Swim Cycle Suit, $128, in gold.
" I just don't know what the appeal is about this metallic kind of fabric," she explains. "Personally, to me, it's giving, like, cheap vibes, and I really don't love the fabric or, like, the color of it."
Despite feeling like she is wearing a Halloween costume, Roxi tries on the item and says she feels like she's going to a swim meet or dance class.
Although the swimsuit doesn't feel like a metallic fabric and is quite comfortable, she says she could never see herself wearing this cycle suit to the swimming pool or the beach.
The next garment on the list is the Skims Swim Tank Dress, $88, in Taffy.
Because she was so confused by the idea of a swim dress, Roxi says that was exactly why she had to try it out.
"It's this dress for one of those situations where you're at a pool party and everyone jumps in the pool really spontaneously," she offers due to being made of similar fabric to the other suits.
The influencer loves the square neckline and the color, but states "it's simply a basic body con dress."
Upon trying on the dress, Roxi was a huge fan of the breathable material, bust cut, bright color and comfortable feel.
"As always, Skims has killed it with the dress," she exclaims before giving the dress a ten out of ten rating.
Roxi follows the swim dress with a review of the Skims Swim Tank Bikini Top, $48 and the Skims Swim Mid Waist Shorts, 42, both in the shade cocoa.
The swim top is similar to a regular supportive bikini top and the bottoms resemble regular, plain biker shorts for reference.
"But I feel like these would be absolutely amazing for when you just want to, like, go swim in the sea or a lake and you want a little bit more coverage and a bit more warmth," Roxi suggests.
Upon trying on the two-piece set, she says the outfit was "snatching everywhere", comfortable, fitted with stretch and 100% appropriate to swim in, earning it another ten out of ten rating.
The swim set Roxi tries on for viewers is the Skims Swim Bandeau Bikini Top, $38, and Skims Swim Tube Skirt, $54 in the shade ochre with a similar quality feel as the original marble bandeau top and coverup.
Upon removal out of the packaging, the skirt appears to be a bit longer in the back, potentially as a means to add a bit more coverage.
The color of the suit comes across as too similar to the Youtube star's skin tone, but though she is a fan of the top, the skirt is a bit confusing and gives the whole outfit a five out of ten rating.
"Personally, I like to wear my skirts a little bit more high waisted, and when I do, I end up having all this extra fabric around the waist," she explains. "If you get this skirt, just expect that you're going to have to wear it pretty low."
Finally, as Roxi moves to the last item on the haul list, she maintains the same ochre shade in the Skims Mock Neck Cycle Suit, $108.
The cycle suit has a zipper down the front that reaches to about the belly button and zips all the way up to the neck.
She also suggests that the suit may be a better fit for someone who is a bit more modest and wants to cover up their body but still appear fashion forward.
Upon trying it on, the Youtuber claims the suit to be body-hugging and snatching for the waist, as well as very supportive.
The quality of the mock neck suit apparently does have a separate layer underneath for more support and comes out with a seven out of ten rating.
Not all of the swim options were Roxi's favorite, but the different styles and colors provide options for many women to enjoy.
