A WOMAN has taken to social media to reveal that she jetted abroad for a set of new teeth.
Samie, who posts on TikTok under the username @sfearon86, explained that she flew to Turkey for a set of veneers.
Samie, one of many who have jetted off to Turkey to get their teeth done, took to social media to show off her new pearly whites as part of a trend that has been dubbed "Turkey teeth".
The TikTok hashtag "#TurkeyTeeth" has reached more than 130 million views.
Several reality TV influencers and celebrities have also had their teeth done, including former Love Island star Jack Fincham and Katie Price.
The procedure of having veneers done can be aggressive and invasive to teeth.

They require almost 70% of your teeth to be filed down.
Samie took to the video sharing platform to open up about the dental procedure.
She explained: “They quoted me for twelve on top, twelve on bottom, £4,800 including everything.
“I found one and if you pay with English cash, they will give you 10% off which was really good so I paid £200 deposit, leaving £4,600 and you don’t pay until you get over here.

“I came over on the Monday, as soon as I got there, they were dead welcoming.
“They have two guys that can speak great English, so they can translate everything.
“They took me straight in, took an x-ray and then I went into the main dentist’s room and sat on the chair and he had a look and they took a load of photos of me smiling from all different directions.
“We had a chat, he told me I have a genetic gum disease and that I must grind my teeth in the night.
“He said he’d do 10 on the top, 14 on the bottom, two bridges to cover the gaps of missing teeth and because of my gum disease, he’s going to put a bit of fake gum on my teeth as well.
“Nothing cost extra, it was still £4,800.
“I paid English cash so I paid £4,120 so I got £480 off by paying in English cash.
“I picked the shape and the colour and everything that I wanted.
“Then I went into the dentist’s chair to start shaving away.”
Samie has shared a variety of videos, showing off her Turkey teeth.
While Samie loves her new smile, TikTok users weren’t as keen.
One person said: “They’re soooo straight they do look quite unnatural. Can you pick for them to look a bit more natural?”
Another added: “Too straight.”
