A WOMAN has revealed how she started flipping furniture as a side hustle with no prior knowledge or experience – but that it quickly became a business when she started to earn £2500 a month.

Now she’s determined to teach other people her secrets so that they can do it too.

Maggie McGaugh shared her success story on her TikTok account @maggiemcgaugh.

In a video posted to her account, she explained to her 1.3 million followers: “In 2020 I got tired of the excuse, ‘I’m just not creative enough.’

“With zero experience or knowledge, I started finding furniture in the trash or online, giving it a new life and using the profits to pay my bills.”

But Maggie never realised how successful the side hustle would become – and quickly saw the benefits and had a great idea of how to take it even further.

Speaking of her lightbulb moment, Maggie continued: “Once I started making over $3000 (approx £2500) a month on furniture alone, I created an e-course so others can learn how to do the exact same.

“I teach how I find furniture in the trash, every single step of flipping it – like cleaning, sanding, and painting – how to negotiate, how to deal with people on Facebook Marketplace.

“I teach how to stage it to sell, what to do if it’s not selling, how to photograph it, where to sell it and even how to make sure you’re legally and financially protected as a furniture flipper.

“It’s everything you need to know from start to finish to get paid doing something creative from home in your pyjamas.”
