I thought I looked great in my black dress but couldn’t work out why people were staring – then I looked in shop window | The Sun

A FASHION fan has been left red-faced after suffering a wardrobe malfunction on holiday in Greece.

Daisy, who lives in London, was enjoying the sunshine in Mykonos when she noticed strangers staring at her in the street.

It was only then that the Scottish beauty caught her reflection and realised her crochet black sundress was more see-through than she'd first thought.

"So I'm like walking through the streets of Mykonos, and everyone’s staring at me", she said.

"I'm going in and out of shops and I'm like ‘why is everyone staring at me?’.

"I've got this little black dress on and I'm just like ‘what the f***, why is everyone staring at me?’."

"Explaining her fashion error, she then added: "Anyway turns out that I've decided to wear the holiest of dresses.

"And when I say holey, I don't mean like you know spiritually holy. I mean holey, holey.

"See the exact thing that I don't want to peek through these holes? it's peeking through the holes.

"You know what I mean, you know what I'm saying.

"They're peeking through the holes staring at everyone in the face.

"I thought it was gonna cover them but no, exactly where the holes are. That's happening."

Daisy captioned her video "side note, Mykonos is cool" as she uploaded it to TikTok, racking up 115,000 views.

But her blunder has left social media users divided.

Some sympathised as one wrote: "Whoops! Well who among us hasn’t had [a] wardrobe malfunction?"

And a second added: "Well that’s awkward."

But others insisted she brought it on herself.

"Wear modest clothes then", suggested one.

Meanwhile, another said: "Simple solution, strapless bra. Still have attention, but maintain your dignity."

Daisy's wardrobe malfunction comes just weeks after she was outfit-shamed by a stranger in a shop dressing room.

So, to get her revenge, Daisy decided to buy EVERYTHING that the woman had slammed.

"Today a girl called me a sl*t in the changing room, so just to annoy her I bought all the clothes she said I looked like a sl*t in," she began her TikTok video.

"All these clothes are from Brandy Melville and I bought them all, and I'm going to show you them all."

The first thing she tried on was a see-through lace long-sleeved black top, which Daisy wore without a bra.

"There were girls in the changing room topless but she was mad at me for wearing a see-through top," she said.

"It made no sense. She was just targeting all her anger at me."

Next was a black sundress, with Daisy saying she was telling her friend she'd have to shorten it as she's only 4ft 11.

"The woman actually laughed out loud, turned to her friend and said, 'We don't need to see anymore of her'," she continued.

Lastly, Daisy tried on some shorts, which she rolled up at the waist, and the woman immediately said to her friend that Daisy couldnt' pull them off.

"I rolled them up like this because this is how I would wear the shorts, and she was laughing at me," she said.

"She made fun of my belly button piercing which made me feel really insecure because I just put that in today.
