Social media user Roxy Stylez, also known on TikTok as @roxystylezz26, took to the video sharing platform to reveal that she went on a nightmare first date.

After chatting to a man she believed to be 27-years-old on Tinder, she was stunned when they organised a date, but a 60-year-old catfish turned up.

But the date wasn’t awful just because Roxy was catfished – she revealed that her date soon went from bad to worse and she found herself running to a shopping centre and hiding in a shop to get away from the man.

Roxy has amassed an impressive 819,000 followers and 6.2million likes on TikTok and explained to her loyal followers what happened.

“I think this could be a new series because of how many terrible dates I’ve been on but we’re gunna start with one of my favourites.

“When I was a few years younger, I was on Tinder. Biggest mistake of my life, do not do it ladies. It’s literally a trap.

“I had been talking to this 27-year-old man, I was 22 at the time and the conversation was wonderful, it was amazing.

“It was weird because we matched when he was driving through my town and he didn’t actually live anywhere near me.

RULE BREAKER

I was dress-coded at work, HR said I was ‘pushing it,’ I can't help my curves

“We had decided we were going to meet up and he was driving quite a few hours to see me and I felt very special.

“We had agreed that we were going to meet in the city that I was living in. I was ecstatic, I showed up early because I’m like ‘wow, this man is driving so far for me, the conversation was wonderful, he must be so interested’.

“So I, being the idiot that I am, park and walk into the restaurant and sit myself down at a table before seeing him.

“I started getting a really weird feeling and allo of a sudden a 60-year-old man walks in and sits at the table with me. I was absolutely dumb-founded I had no idea what to say.

“He introduced himself as the name that he was and all I could say was ‘you’re definitely not 27’.

“Me being the pushover that I used to be, I continued to sit with this man for the duration of the meal, because I felt so guilty for him for feeling like he needed to lie about his age.”

But Roxy revealed that things quickly got even weirder, as she continued: “End of the meal rolls around, the conversation was extremely awkward. I was just trying to be nice and get the date done.

“He whips out his wallet and he has like 47 random gift cards with like 5 cents, 10 cents, 2 dollars, 3 dollars, and he tells me that I’m going to pay for my meal and he’s going to pay for his with that.

“Prior to that happening I had actually informed the waitress, while I was on a bathroom trip, that I needed to make sure that I pay for my own meal, so this man did not get the idea, as obviously I didn’t want to be on a date with him.

“So I paid for my meal, I said ‘nice to meet you, I hope you have a wonderful day’ and he starts losing his s**t.

“He starts yelling at me saying that because he drove eight hours that I better be going home with him and he’s expecting things to happen between us.

“I started speed walking out of the restaurant and he is chasing me.

“I booked it over to the mall and I hid in a t-shirt store.

“I could hear him screaming my name, telling me that I’m a c**t and absolutely losing his mind.

“I thought he was going to kill me.

“I called a taxi to take me home so he wouldn’t be able to recognise me and follow me home so I snuck out of the mall and he text me the most horrendous film.

“I had to call the police and the police did nothing.”

Roxy’s video has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly racked up 117.7k views.

It has 4,984 likes, 272 comments and 40 shares.

TikTok users were left open-mouthed at Roxy’s story, with many rushing to the comments to express this.
