A WOMAN has revealed the epic error she made when picking her dog up from the groomers.

Lauren explained that after their family pooch Frankie had been taken to get a haircut, her sister Eva was in charge of picking her up.

But Eva was slightly perturbed when she saw what the groomer had done to Frankie, sending a picture of the finished look to the family What's App group.

"Guys wtf did they do to Frankie," she wrote alongside the snap.

"She looks f**ked ahahaha!"

"HAHAHAHAHA," their other sister Izzy replied.

While Lauren wrote: "Actually what did they do?!

"I'm crying with laughter!"

"I actually thought they gave me the wrong dog," Eva admitted.

"OMG," their mum replied, before Eva added: "Not quite sure what they did to her but she's like traumatised… following me everywhere."

"I think I'll book her back in at pet barn," Eva's mum replied.

"She looks old."

Her mum then sent another message which read: "Hey according to the groomer that is not Frankie.

"Eva can you go back and check it out? Not sure what's going on.

"Check her ear she should have a tattoo in it."

"What the f**k?" Izzy said.

As their mum texted: "Eva call me!"

Their dad then joined the conversation, saying: "Seriously, she's got that white patch on her chest?"

"Frankie literally has the white patch on the chest," Lauren said, after sending a picture of the pooch.

"Is that photo taken now?" Lauren's mum replied.

"She's also got the white paw.

"Eva can you call me?"

Eva replied that she was out with very little signal.

"Does this look like Frankie?" the mum then asked.

"Yes," Eva replied.

With Izzy adding: "Does that dog have the white patch on its chest?

"Are you saying there's a random dog at our house then?"

"The other dog had a white chest and white paws," Eva insisted.

"I just thought it was a f**ked haircut ahahahaha."

Mum then shared a picture of another black dog with white markings, writing: "This is who they think is Frankie".

"And she has offered to come to the house, Eva," she added.

Dad then messaged the group saying: "Did we get our dog back?"

"Yes! hahahaah" Eva replied.

She also revealed the pooch was definitely acting "more normal" than the other dog had been when they got home.

"Should have gone to Specsavers," Lauren captioned the video.

"'Did we get our dog back' has me crying," one person wrote in the comments.

With Lauren replying: "It's the classic Dad comment!"

"EAR TATTOO?" another asked.

As Lauren explained: "In Australia they put a little tattoo in their ears when they’ve been microchipped."

"Omg i feel so bad for not Frankie, she was a probably so scared," a third admitted.
