I transformed my council house bathroom into a boujee paradise with an 87p trick – it looks so good | The Sun

A DIY fan has revealed how she transformed her bathroom in a bid to turn her council house into something boujiee.

Taking to TikTok, the woman demonstrated how she created a marble effect on her bathroom wall.

And it didn’t cost her much either.

The woman, who goes by the name of Fiiarh_Karina on TikTok, has shared her video and it has since gone viral.

She discovered Amazon was selling marble tile stickers, which come in a pack of 16, are 12x6inchs and cost £13.99 – which makes it around 87p per sticker.

The tile stickers are PVC which helps it to be waterproof and oil proof.

It took her around two days to complete it as she ran out of packets, but each day took her around an hour and a half each day.

She says: “The tricky bit was cutting around the edges of where the shower head is.

“I actually cut myself so many times doing this.

“Altogether (it took) three Hours.

“But that was because I had to do some cuttings, around the shower heads, around the sink.

“I even cut myself during this. But life goes on.”

She used a stencil to help her and make it the same size and claimed it was “easy peasy.”

The DIY fan says: “It didn't really take long.”

The video had attracted thousands of views with many rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “How many packs it’s about the same size as mine.”

To which Fiiarh replied: “84 tiles and I had 4 spare left.”

Another asked: “Will they stay with steam.”

Fiiarh replied: “Yes they do.”
