I transformed my daughters’ shared bedroom into two unique spaces for each of them – and just with a bargain IKEA buy | The Sun

IF YOUR children share a room, then you know it can cause problems, especially as they get older.

Kids often want their own space and end up bickering without it, but one mum found a savvy solution thanks to an IKEA buy.

Taking to TikTok mum-of-two Sharney Leanne shared how she transformed the bedroom into two spaces on a budget.

The DIY mum showed viewers how the room looked before splitting it in two, and there was clearly lots of space in the middle for her to seperate it.

One side of the room had a single bed while the other had a double and there was a TV unit in the middle.

She moved the TV unit other to one side with the single bed and put a giant Kallax unit from IKEA in the middle of the room.

The Kallax unit divided the space up for her daughters as well as provided ample storage for both girls.

Her eldest daughter also had a TV on her side of the room as well as a cute vanity desk.

In the clip, Sharney penned: "Watch me split my girls' room with a Kallax unit."

The Kallax unit Sharney used can be purchased for £165 on their website and comes in a variety of colours.
