A 19-YEAR-OLD mum has been inundated with praise online after revealing how she transformed her tired-looking council flat into a stylish modern home.

Ellie, who posts under the acronym @elliejns1919, took to TikTok and shared a video which she captioned: "Turning my first flat into a home for me & my baby girl."

In the clip, the teen mum begins by showing a series of images of the flat before the modern makeover – and with it's dull, beige walls and dated interior, it's in desperate need of some TLC.

She then shares the very impressive transformation photos – and the rooms look almost unrecognisable.

First up is the kitchen, which has been given a complete overhaul – including new grey marble effect kitchen worktop surface.

Next, Ellie shows off her grey-and-white nursery which has Dumbo-themed walls, Winnie the Pooh bedding and a sweet little bouncer chair from Argos.

The 19-year-old finally reveals the stylish living room, which has grey shelves, a tall chic lamp, a side unit and TV.

The video has gone viral, garnered a whopping 362,000 views and hundreds of comments – with many praising the teen's impressive DIY skills.
