A FASHION fan who tried a personal styling website was left staggered by the “hideous” pieces she was sent.
Megan Harber was compared to teachers and questioned if the stylists thought she was an old woman.
The 26-year-old was sent a maxi skirt, two tops and a parka jacket in dated prints and passé colours like mustard yellow and khaki green.
She shared the mortifying experience online and vowed to return every piece.
Taking to social media, Megan explained: “So, I did an order from Stitch Fix and there are no words.
“And I just feel like I have to put it on Tik Tok, so I’m gonna show you what I got.”

The fashionista revealed that her usual style is fun, bright and accessorised, adding that she “loves a hat”.
She sent pictures to the stylists at online styling site Stitch Fix of outfits she has worn before and filled in a questionnaire for extra detail.
However, the skirt and top combos she received were far from gucci.
Megan put the first outfit on, which consisted of a loose floral skirt, pink and white striped top and a yellow parka jacket.

She laughed: “Sorry… am I 400-years-old?”
Another top to match the shirt was a v-neck ribbed jumper which Megan said was “giving army”.
She continued: “Who in their right mind is wearing this s**t?
“Maybe it’ll look better with my hair up.”
But she concluded that the outfit “can’t be saved”.
Megan added: “It has made me look about 40 stone.
“If I rocked out in this on a serious level, people would laugh at me.
“Who is wearing these clothes?
“No words.”
The fashion fan penned in the caption: “The ‘stylists’ at Stitch Fix need to give their heads a shake.”
Jokers in the comments compared her to a school teacher and a “tired mum doing the school run”.
One quipped: “I feel like they raided Miss Hoolie’s wardrobe from the old Balamory days.”
The star of Megan’s personalised haul was the yellow parka jacket.
One woman called it a “hate crime”, while another said she “audibly gasped” at it.

Stylists then hand select outfits to send to customers in boxes, which they can receive as one-offs or on a regular basis.
