I was quoted £200 for my festive door – I did it myself with B&M buys and I'm so impressed…but trolls say it looks cheap | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed that she was quoted over £200 for a festive door – so decided to do it herself.

The savvy DIY fan explained that she nabbed cheap buys from B&M, The Range and eBay, to create her own door display.

But social media users are divided at the festive display – while some thought it looked amazing, and were desperate to do the same, not everyone was as kind, and mean trolls said it looked ‘cheap’.

Showing off her DIY creation online, the woman, who is from Stoke-on-Trent, took to social media and shared a video with the caption “Door garland made by myself for around £60, was quoted over £200.”

She then explained: “Quoted over £200 so [I] had a go myself for around £60.

“Well happy.”
