I work at a Christmas tree store & customers are so annoying – they give such ridiculous reasons for wanting a discount | The Sun

A MAN who sells Christmas trees has revealed the very annoying things customers always do.

George Lipps, who went viral last year after sharing some of the most frustrating exchanges he's had with customers, has returned to TikTok to share some of the most difficult interactions he's had so far this year.

In his most recent video (@georg3lipps), George revealed just a few of the rather random excuses customers use to try and get a discount on their tree.

"What sort of tree you after?" he asks, to which the customer replies: "Yeah, I've seen you off TikTok, mate. I've seen your videos….so yeah, I'll pick out a tree."

But when George tells the customer that'll be £50, he asks: "So l take it I'll get a discount for recognising you then?"

Next up, the Christmas tree seller shares another exchange he's had with a mum and her chatty toddler.

He then impersonates the child, who won't let George get two words in edge-ways.

Sharing his inner thoughts, George rages: "Would you shut up? I'm trying to speak to your mum!"

The mum then apologises on behalf of her toddler, who she admit is "quite loud."

George simply points straight to the 'exit' door.

In previous videos from last year, George re-enacted some of the other frequent conversations he'd had with customers.

Amongst them includes a customer who tells George exactly what tree they want, saying: "Hello, I'd like to buy a 5ft Nord please."

George then tells the customer it costs £45 – but the customer has other ideas.

They said: "Oh really? I went to somewhere else and it was £30."

Instead of matching the price, George responded with 'right'.

In another interaction, an excited customer informed George they had travelled 15 miles to get a tree from his farm.

While he praised them for taking the time and effort to travel to him, the customer was after something else…
