Hungarian artist Gergely Dudás, who goes under the Twitter handle Dudolf posted his puzzle on his Facebook page.
It was shared more than 1,000 times in under 24 hours, and thousands of people voiced their frustration at the seemingly straightforward task of locating a fish.
But it was trickier than they expected.

One Facebook user who spotted it queried: "I just see the fishes head. Is that right?"
Another joked: "The fish is hiding so I can't find it."

Previously, the cartoonist, who kicked off the pandamonium series, left thousands baffled with his festive puzzle of a panda amongst snowmen.
The game follows a teaser that was created by Max Knoblauch and recently posted by Mashable's Watercooler.
The quirky puzzle features hamsters in different moods with a few sporting fancy dress costumes to distract the viewer.

It has left internet users scratching their heads after spotting this mind-boggling illusion photo.
One user wrote: “I must have stared at that picture for 10 seconds, which is ten minutes in internet time.”
Another posted: “Cat camouflage level 10.”
While another joked: “Sleeping like a log.”
Reddit user jmankruse revealed the cat name is Lloyd adding: “But who knew orange cats could blend so well.”
