I’m 52 and refuse to dress my age – people often comment on my style saying it’s too young but I don’t care | The Sun

A 52-year-old fashion influencer has revealed that she refuses to 'dress for her age.'

Luisa is a model and doesn't conform to style rules that say you need to hang up certain items of clothing once you reach a certain age.

In a recent TikTok video, the fashion lover showed off her latest outfit.

Walking down the streets at night, with her friend, she wore a black mesh cut-out top with a flowy silver skirt and boots.

She wrote: "Style over 50 is wearing what makes you feel good."

Louisa's TikTok account is full of content showing her outfits and telling women to dress how they want despite their age.

"Fashion should be enjoyed, at any age. Wear whatever makes you happy," the Australian model said.

She then showed a variety of outfits most 50-year-olds wouldn't dare wear including a black leather corset top with a black tulle skirt.

One viewer asked: "Can a 29-year-old also wear this? Asking for a friend."

Louisa replied: "Absolutely, that’s the point. Our age doesn’t determine what we wear or if we dye our hair. The choice is ours."

Plenty of people praised Louisa for ditching the fashion rules and dressing how she wants.

One wrote: "I will be this fabulous at 50. Like I won’t accept anything less."

Another person commented: "I didn’t look like this even in my teens."

A third added: "I need to look like this in my 50s."

However, some seemed to think she had to ditch her grey hair to pull off her outfits.

One remarked: "Love it! But lose the grey hair!!! You can go grey when you are in your 80s."

She replied: "Nope. I don’t need to chase youthful looks to feel empowered as a woman. That comes from the inside."

A second person penned: "nice ladies please change that hair colour now."

A third commented: "As a lady in my mid 50's, I cant quite get my head round the grey hair fad."
