I’m a 999 call operator and there are 12 things I won’t do now… riding motorbikes is just one | The Sun

A WOMAN who worked as an emergency call dispatcher has revealed the 12 things she'd never do after years in the job.

Macy took to her TikTok page to share a video explaining the "things I will NEVER do after being a 911 dispatcher".

She began with: "Never trust a stranger coming up to your car.

"Never date a police officer (no offence! Love y’all tho).

"Never ride a motorcycle (especially without a helmet)" and "never keep valuables in my car".

"Being a dispatcher alter my brain chemistry, always wear a seat belt, have the furnace checked yearly, make sure you have a clear path out of the home," one person commented on the video.

"Same. 17 years as a dispatcher and I could write a book about things I don't do anymore," another added.

Lots also asked why she'd never date a police officer with Macy responding: "One, the stress of the job – I just could never deal with that, I just couldn’t do it.

"And the second reason is that they all sleep with dispatchers – obviously not all but a huge number."

Macy continued her list in a second video, beginning with "never keep a ladder in your (above ground) pool", "never go cliff diving" and "never go for a walk at night (especially if your alone).
