A BEAUTY expert has shared the reasons she doesn't microblade anymore.
Over the years, microblading has become one of the most sought-after beauty treatments in the world, with celebrities and influencers alike rocking picture-ready brows.
But despite its huge popularity, one beauty whizz has revealed she doesn't perform microblading on clients anymore – and there are four reasons behind this decision.
Taking it to TikTok, Laura, who goes by the username @practicemakes_perfect.lb on the social media platform, explained why she no longer microblades clients' brows.
According to Laura, as she mentioned in the viral video, this procedure can be performed only twice before causing scaring to the skin.
Stroking through a client's eyebrow that had once been microbladed, the beauty expert claimed that the tiny strokes will stay looking like hair only for ''a very small amount of people''.

In the comments, she went on to add: ''I myself have microbladed many people in the past and yes about 20% of clients it works really well for''.
But for the remaining 80 per cent, the results are not going to be so desirable.
When it comes to microblading, for some it's a way to achievethicker-looking brows.
However, Laura, who used to practice microblading, said that the ''tattoo ages badly and shrinks over time''.

Instead of a fuller set of eyebrows, microblading will make them appear thinner, she explained.
To make matters worse, if the artist hasn't performed well and all the hair strokes aren't thin enough, the oversaturated ones will change colour.

In the clip, Laura claimed that these could turn grey, blue-green or even red.
To get the full picture, Fabulous also spoke to Sapna Christi, a microblading specialist, from Derby.
She claimed that if performed correctly, microblading can be ''successful'' and clients benefit from the permanent procedure ''due to it being so natural looking and not obvious''.
''The procedure […] can replicate hairstrokes and look very natural.''
When sharing her expertise in the field, Sapna also explained that because the pigment is implanted into the dermis layer of the skin – which is the second layer – ''it can be known to fade quicker''.
''Depending on the amount of times the procedure is done, clients will not get scar tissue,'' said Sapna, who also now teaches fellow beauty lovers how to become brow experts.

However, as she pointed out, it is important to not go overboard or make sure it's performed properly.
''If the pigment is impacted too deep, this will create scar tissue, or if the procedure is done too many times within a close timeframe from the last time the client has had it done.''
