WHO doesn't love a big bowl of pasta?
Well it turns out you can enjoy your favourite dish for loads longer by freezing it – who knew.
Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli told The Mirror home cooks can safely freeze loads of pasta favourites to help save money.
"It is accessible. It is inexpensive," he explained.
You can even batch cook your favourite pasta dish to make it last longer.
"If you have a family, Italian batch cooking is very good, you can freeze your food," he said.

"Make a big lasagne then portion it up and put it in the freezer.
"Make a melanzane parmigiana or aubergine parmigiana then portion it and put it in the freezer.
You can even make fresh pasta and freeze that ready to whip out to impress guests on unexpected visits.
"All these things can be frozen and used as and when you need them and cooked from frozen," Aldo explained.

When you do want to eat the frozen pasta it wont take long to heat up, "three or four minutes and that’s it," Aldo said.
You could even go the extra mile and make arancini to freeze and then fry it as normal when you want to indulge.
Homemade pasta can last for a couple of month in the freezer according tot the chef, so it's perfect to make when you have some free time ready for a later day.
