A LOVELY smelling house is something we all strive for, but many of us fail at keeping the aroma around for long.
Luckily, one professional cleaner has shared her secret technique at ensuring all her clients’ homes smell incredible… And it’s so easy.
“My client asked what do I use to make her house smell and feel so clean,” @donnamendoza35 wrote over a short TikTok clip.
Placing a bowl on a kitchen counter with some water inside, she got out a Suavitel-branded fabric softener and added a splash of it into the mixture.
She then added some antibacterial hand soap before mixing it all around with a kitchen towel.
You can find fabric softener for £1.25 from Tesco, while antibacterial hand soap can be found for just 88p from the Superdrug.

Over this, Donna, otherwise known as the cleaning lady on the social media app, said her client told her she “doesn’t have to dust in between my cleanings”.
Many were impressed with her hack as one person wrote: “So the fabric softener repels dust??? Neat!!!”
Donna replied: “It does. Thank you !!” [sic]

Others weren’t as convinced by the hack, however, as one person said: “Not for me. Way too toxic”.
A second argued: “This would actually *attract** dust, damage surfaces and be toxic to breath , but to each their own”. [sic]
As a third chimed: “Overtime it will buildup and the dust will glue to it”. [sic]
