IF your skin is looking a little dull and lifeless it might be because you're making one of these five common mistakes.
Lindsey Zubritsky shared what they are and how you can get a glowy and healthy look no matter your age or budget.
According to the expert, anti-ageing products are important, but you should start using them sooner rather than later.
"Skincare for anti-ageing actually starts in our teen and 20s – this is when we're experiencing the most sun exposure," Lindsey explained.
Of course, it's better late than never – so using a good SPF and other products like retinol and retinoids can make a huge difference.
The second mistake you might be making has to do with your trusty moisturiser.

It turns out slapping it on whenever isn't giving you the best results and there's a specific time you should apply it.
Lindsey said: "If you're applying moisturiser to dry skin you're not getting the benefits you deserve.
"Applying it to damp skin it's actually increasing the ability to moisturize and hydrate."
And using products only on your face is a big no-no too, the pro said.

Your neck and chest are as exposed to the sun as your face but often get left behind when it comes to anti-ageing products and suncream.
This means your neck and chest will look a lot older than your face, which no one wants.
The fourth mistake Lindsey sees time and time again is people washing their face wrong.
Makeup wipes won't cut it, and "aggressive scrubs" are just as bad.
Instead, you should cleanse your skin for 30 seconds to get rid of any dirt and grime from the day.
Finally, you should stop brushing your teeth after washing your face.
"You're leaving behind saliva, toothpaste and bacteria on the skin which can lead to acne breakouts," the pro said.
