FAST fashion is the new phenomenon that has everyone in a chokehold.

While it is great for shoppers who want to keep up with trends for a low price, many consumers come across "cheap and tacky" pieces that they believe do not live up to the hype.

TikTok and fashion guru Ana Reyes, who goes by @anareyess__, posted a video breaking down five fashion mistakes that she believes are tacky.

She suggests staying away from these five items if "your goal is to achieve more of a classy and elegant look."

The first trend she speaks about is strappy cut-out dresses.

She acknowledges that cut-out dresses and tops popularity. But goes on to explain why it is not elegant, in her opinion.

She uses an example of a brown cut-out dress that features painted scripture faces.

"But what makes it super tacky is the fact that there is so much going on at once," she says.

"From the cut, from the color scheme, one color to another and tie-dye, to a whole lady on the side, and the material is stretchy and thin."

Next, Ana says tie-dye dresses are a no-go, as it looks "DIY, corny, and tacky".

"I find it very hard to look classy in tie-dye dresses because it looks very DIY."

She also shares her distaste for dresses with side strings.

"Dresses like this, I find it very hard to style in a classy way when it has too many ties and strings."

After that, she shares that adult fashion tops with butterflies, angels, etc., are a huge mistake.

The example she shows is someone wearing a pink string cropped top with a strawberry pattern.

"This is a great example of adult fashion that looks juvenile."

She continues her disapproval, saying: "I don't know why anyone wears this out.

"Anything with butterflies, tie dye, clouds, angels are tacky and look very cheap."

Finally, Ana advises her followers to stay away from plastic studded sandals.

In the clip, she displays beige studded plastic sandals with a bow as an example.

"They look very because they are made out of plastic," she says

"The are studs are a no!"
