A FOOD whizz has taken to social media to share her homemade fish and chip recipe, leaving many mouths watering.
Brita, who is known on TikTok as @britacooks, is a foodie from Canada, who has amassed an impressive 276.3k followers and 4.9million likes on the video sharing platform.
The food fan recently took to the social media app to share how she makes a healthy version of fish and chips.
She claimed that there’s no need to go to the pub when you can make it just as good at home, with her quick and easy air fryer recipe.
So if you have joined the air fryer crew, this is definitely one worth trying.
She shared her video with the caption ‘pub food can still be healthy!’ and explained: “No need to go to the pub when you can make this crispy fish and chips right at home.

“We’re making a healthy version today in the air fryer – the recipe is super easy.
“Start by cutting your potatoes into batons and soaking in cold water.
“Pat dry and mix with olive oil, salt and pepper, and into the air fryer.
“Ten minutes at 400°F – give them a flip and then another 10 on the other side.

“Next crack two eggs and mix well.
“Then get a cup of breadcrumbs and then add some seasonings to half a cup of flour.
“We’re going to pat dry our fish, I’m using cod here, and then lightly coat with flour, then dip in the egg and then finally the breadcrumbs.
“These go into the air fryer for eight minutes on each side, also at 400°F.
“I love serving British pub style with some smashed peas, homemade tartar sauce and lots of lemon.”
Brita dished up her dinner on a large plate and squeezed lots of lemon over her fish.
Her meal looks delicious and considering it didn’t take long to make, it is definitely worth a shot.
Brita’s video has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 412.6k views.
