But if you struggle to get your steak cooked just right, you’ve come to the best place, as one foodie has revealed how he cooks the perfect steak.
A food fan, TikTok user Tyler Butt (@tylerbutt_eats), has revealed that he makes his own steak at home and not only is it super easy to cook, but it doesn't take long to make either.
According to Tyler, the best way to cook your steak is to use an air fryer.
If you have joined the air fryer gang, this is definitely one worth trying, as it’s safe to say, our mouths are now watering.

Tyler shared his video with the caption ‘Yeah a minute or two less n it would be better… but come on.. AIRFRYER STEAKS?!’
He explained: “Air fryer steaks hit hard.”
Tyler started by adding a “pinch of salt” and a “dash of oil” to his meat, before placing it into the air fryer basket.
He cooked the steak at 200 degrees for just five minutes, before flipping it over and putting it back in for three minutes.

Once cooked, he sliced up the steak, added more salt and noted: “Pink and juicy, not too bad.”
He later explained: “Needs two minds less I’d say, but we move.
“I think 3 mins each side will work better!”
Tyler’s video has clearly impressed many, as it quickly went viral and has since racked up 2.7million views.
It has 102.8k likes, 1,074 comments and 2,574 shares.
One person said: “Looks good to me..”
Another added: “I’m using my air fryer for steak now.”
A third commented: “Wicked brother, looks amazing.”
However, not everyone was as impressed with Tyler’s air fryer recipe and many thought that he had overcooked the meat.
One user noted: “About 7 minutes longer than needed.”
